Living without the Internet makes me feel so detached from my family and friends in SG. Imagine being stranded in a foreign country where you do not have any form of device to contact your family and friends, not even a phone card please! Finally after a long and tedious wait, they gave us a local SIM card and tried to connect our laptop with the Internet. Everyone was exuberant when they can connect to the Internet. See how desperate we were?

And after 4 days in Dalian, my room finally connects itself to the Net. It's a happy thing after all=D 3 days without hogging onto my laptop definitely doesnt sound like me. However, i did spend 3 days without the laptop, simply just by walking, eating and sleeping to kill time. I slept at 9.30pm on Monday. LOL.

In contrast with Singapore, Dalian definitely has a slower pace of life. Time seems to pass very SLLOOOOWWWWWLLLLYYYYYYYYYY, to be concise. Friday would arrive with just a twinkling of an eye in Singapore, but in Dalian, it seems to take years for friday to come. It's not that Dalian isnt good, i just miss home):

One thing i like about Dalian is their temperature(: though it is sunny, it is still a necessity to don on woolen clothing. I wore 3 layers of jackets, but it doesnt seem to obliterate the cold i feel. never mind, i'll get use to it.(: It's the breeze that i love.

Oh, did i mention that half the handle for pulling my luggage was cracked into fragments? I'm not exaggerating! When i got my luggage back, the handle was beyond recognition.): but thank god i got a compensation.

My room mate and I were together most of the time and went to buy some food at the canteen one evening. Know what? Many stall tenders mistaken us as Koreans! LOL!! Unbelievable, isnt it? We both were stunned as well. & many of them mistaken Liping and Jiaqi as Japanese! =D

Bed seems to be too comfy. I wanna sleep real much! Till then, i'll try to have more updates.

Dalian sure is a place filled with nice food, nice fruits, nice weather, nice people=D

i miss mum&dad, my 3 sisters, and my bed.
i miss bud.
i miss colene and xueting.
i miss kel, jialing, evelyn and chiew.
i miss my sec sch cliques.
i miss working. HAHAHAHA.
